CANCELED: Chantlanta 2020: Sunday schedule

CANCELED

We are very excited to announce that, as we move into ChantLanta's 2nd decade, we've decided to expand our offerings! We'll be continuing the festival throughout the day on Sunday, with a full schedule of bands and workshops, plus the vendor market and silent auction! We hope you'll join us for a another afternoon of bliss and celebration! Here's what's happening:

11:00 am - 12:00 pm: Church Service with Pastor Mimi Walker and the ChantLanta musicians! Our Sunday program kicks off with an interfaith service in the Sanctuary at the Church at Ponce and Highland! Pastor Mimi Walker and ChantLanta's director, Ian Boccio, will speak, and music will be provided by a selection of local kirtanwallas. A unique event that has never happened at ChantLanta before!

12:00 pm - 4:00 pm: The Vendor Market and Silent Auction is open! Join us in the Theater to check out booths featuring local, spiritually-oriented businesses, and browse through ChantLanta's ever-popular Silent Auction. There will be a cafe serving food throughout the afternoon, a side room with healing practitioners, and another side room dedicated to Ayurvedic medicine!

12:30 pm - 5:00 pm: Workshops happening in the Selah Center and the Parlor. These workshops have limited seating, so you need to visit chantlanta.org/workshops to reserve your space along with your $10 donation to The Learning Tea. All workshops filled up last year, so don't wait to register or you might miss out! Sunday workshops include:

• Chanting the MahaMantra
     with Balabhadra Dasa
• Journey to Bliss
with Octavia Nasr & Sonic Yogi
• Taize Meditative Singing
     with Lisa Persons & friends
• Aramaic Toning & Pyradym Sound Immersion
     with Dale Allen Hoffman
• Interactive Drumming Playshop
     with Ty Andrews
• Suksma: Conscious Music Journey
     with Haji Basim & Friends

Visit chantlanta.org/workshops for complete descriptions and to register!

1:00 pm - 6:30 pm: Music and more on the Main Stage! Free to attend and everyone is welcome! Featuring:

• Where the Light Gets In
High vibration songs with Bob Sima
     & Shannon Plummer!
• Phil McWilliams
Kirtan with one of Atlanta's most
     beloved wallas!
• Tom Bluewolf
Native American chants, dances and stories
     with our local elder!
• All-star Kirtan Jam
A conglomeration of chanters and musicians
from a variety of local bands!

ChantLanta 2020 is going to be a great ride! We hope you'll join us and stay all the way to the end!
