This is a show in Sanskrit, probably the first time such a professional play is staged in Sansksrit in the USA. While you will understand the play contextually, there will be English subtitles on the side so that the audience can follow the progress.
Though Hanuman is considered the servant of Shri Rama, his bhakti is so intense that Hanuman is also considered and worshiped as God. The depicted stories are picked from various puranas. They revolve around the Hanuman's Rama Bhakti.
The show has songs, stotra and other items musically set to enhance and depict the devotion. Orchestra will provide live musical support.
If you are a devotee of Lord Shri Rama or Lord Hanuman or a fan of classical music and bhajans, this show is a must watch ! Please bring your children, they would not only enjoy the show, but also learn a bit about Lord Hanuman and Sanskrit !
