WHERE? International Center (Dahlberg Hall, 3rd Floor)
WHEN? Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 10:30 AM
WHY? Learn to use your study abroad experience to your advantage in your job search!
If someone asks you "How was your study abroad?" and you answer "It was awesome!" then this workshop is for you! Join Georgia State University Career Services & the Study Abroad Programs Office for a workshop about highlighting your study abroad experience during your job search!
We will practice going beyond "it was awesome" by discussing transferable skills, study abroad action verbs for your resume & how to speak about your study abroad in an interview. This workshop is geared towards students who studied abroad for any length of time, so whether you went abroad during the Maymester or spent an academic year abroad, we'd love for you to attend! For questions, please contact Emily Caskey in the Study Abroad Programs Office.
Welcome home study abroad students! To welcome back all returning study abroad students, as well as incoming exchange students, the Study Abroad Programs Office is hosting a

Feel free to drop by our office to beat the heat and stay as long as you'd like. We'll be providing iced coffee & donuts, but we expect the conversation to come from you! We're looking forward to reminiscing about your study abroad, learning about your experience here at GSU, helping you work through any reverse culture shock, and making connections to foster internationalization here on campus! Please invite your friends who have an interest in studying abroad and/or international exchange and we hope to see you on Tuesday, August 30th!
