Dear Community members:
We are sure all of you in the USA are following the COVID-19 virus news very closely. President Trump has declared a national emergency that brings challenges to Indian students studying at various universities due to college closures, suspension of campus activities, and closing of dormitories. Our extended family members, international students from India, are facing harsh conditions as campuses are shutting down. It is the time for communities that need to come together to help these students in providing temporary accommodation. ATA has always been at the forefront in showing support and solidarity to the community members in emergencies. ATA is working closely with the Indian embassy in Washington DC to identify these students who need accommodation. ATA counts on you to accommodate the students from India during this critical time. Without the support of the community, it is impossible to host the number of students. We are hoping that these circumstances will get resolved pretty soon. If you are willing to host, please take a moment to fill the following google form, so it helps us to identify whom you are willing to host like boys or girls, and for how long, etc. We are confident that many of you will come forward and host. We thank you from the bottom of our heart for your generosity and goodwill gesture. ATA truly appreciates it!
