1st India Israel US Forum (IIUF)
We are pleased to announce that the 1st India Israel US Forum (IIUF) will take place in Atlanta on April 24th, 2017, to recognize “25 years of India Israel Relations.”
IIUF is being presented by the Asian-America Heritage Foundation (AAHF) and the American Jewish Committee (AJC) Atlanta, in cooperation with the Atlanta Consulates General of India and Israel. The program is being hosted by the law firm of Arnall Golden Gregory LLP (AGG) and is designed specifically for business decision-makers, senior academics and members of the Indian and Jewish communities in Atlanta with a special interest in India-Israel-US relations.
Introductory remarks will be made by Ambassador Judith Varnai Shorer, Consul General of Israel to the Southeastern United States and Consul General Nagesh Singh, Consul General of India, Atlanta.* (Invited)
Keynote remarks on 25 years of India Israel Relations will be given by Dr. Maina Chawla Singh, Scholar in Residence, School of International Service, American University, Senior Associate Fellow, Schusterman Center for Israel Studies, Brandeis University; and Shimon Mercer-Wood, Consul for Media Affairs, Consulate General of Israel, New York, will address “MASHAV, Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation – the India connection.”
A concluding panel featuring Guy Tessler, President, Conexx: America Israel Business Connector, Jorge Fernandez, VP Global Commerce, Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce , and Ani Agnihotri, Program Chair, USA India Business Summit (UIBS) will discuss The presence of Israeli and Indian companies in Georgia and the Southeast US.
An audience of about 75-100 people is expected to attend the event.
