Love Without Reason is active in the fight to end human trafficking, and serves three different vulnerable populations. Children born with craniofacial birth defects are at high risk for being sold into human trafficking networks. Women rescued from the red-light districts of Mumbai are at risk for revictimization if they are not able to sustain themselves with a steady income. The children of these women who are raised in the brothels are at risk for continuing the cycle of slavery, simply by living in the brothels.

About Love Without Reason (LWR):
LWR is a US based 501(c)(3) non profit organization, based in Chattanooga, TN. LWR was founded in 2007 to fight human trafficking, to prevent it and to end it before it starts. As part of this vision, LWR helps provide cost-free surgeries for patients born with Cranio Maxillo Facial deformities (including Cleft lip and Palate) in India and Africa; helps women trapped in Human Trafficking build sustainable businesses to stay out of the vicious cycle of slavery. Most patients with facial deformities are also trafficked into Beggary, Bonded Labor, Sex slavery and Organ Harvesting, where their organs are sold into the black market.
As of today LWR has completed over 500 surgeries in India and Africa, while conducting more than 50 medical camps. We have provided cost-free surgeries for patients in India, Zimbabwe and Kenya and are looking to grow this effort across other countries as well. The Project Butterfly center has helped several women be free from the evils of human trafficking in Mumbai at one of the major trafficking hubs in the city. The center has about 120+ women who are currently sex slaves, but are learning life and business skills such as tailoring, jewelry making etc to become self sustaining. It is our hope that we can rescue these women to be free from the evils of sex trafficking. This center has been operational since 2015 and has helped hundreds of women.
