Ahmadiyya Muslim Community: Stand with My Muslim Sister
against hate, intolerance, bigotry--to promote peace, love, and understanding. To create awareness about Muslim women and practices of modesty, including hijab.
This is a women's-only event for any woman (sisters of all faiths welcome) interested in learning about the hijab or concerned about discrimination based on religion or gender.
Speakers include CNN Assignment editor Slma Shelbayah; Dr. Lee Ann Bambach, an attorney and religious scholar; Ayesha Khan, an educator; Najia Humayun, a GA Tech student and humanitarian.
Refreshments will be served.
