Photographer Manjari Sharma worked with artisans in India to assemble massive dioramas as settings for her photographs of Hindu deities featured in the exhibition Transcendent Deities of India: The Everyday Occurrence of the Divine. Children will look closely look at the block-printed fabrics such as Durga’s beautiful red sari in these complex images and then make their own printed textiles from blocks carved in India.
