The African-American Journey to Peace & Justice through True Islam

The African-American Journey to Peace & Justice through True Islam
The Oldest Muslim Community in the United States , The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, will put on a program to showcase the fascinating African American History in Islam on the weekend of 25th and 26th February.
The program begins on Saturday 25th February, with the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community's participation in Atlanta's Black History Parade at the King Center National Park, Atlanta. Between 12pm and 6pm, you will be able to see members of the Community sharing our message of 'Love for All, Hatred for None,' and other slogans of Islam that support inclusion, diversity and civil rights.

We continue to mark the significance of Black History on Sunday 26th February, with an interactive educational program delivered by Muslim scholars from all over the country. A keynote address will be delivered by Imam Azhar Haneef, the Missionary-in-Charge and National Vice President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA, of over 70 Mosques and Chapters. Men, women and children of all ages are welcome. Refreshments will be served.

The program will also feature an exhibition beautifully presenting a well-researched chronological and photographic display of African American History in Islam from 1921 to the present. The event and exhibition are free and open to the public.
