Topic: Adi Sankara’s Siva-Aparadha-Kshamapana Stotram
This is a famous prayer of atonement for one’s omissions and commissions.
Composed as a praise-song for Lord Siva, it is an excellent way to let go of one’s
sense of guilt and other emotional turmoil that often comes in the way of self-knowledge.

Topic: Purusha Suktam. The Purusha Sukta is a highly regarded prayer in the Rg Veda that invokes
Bhagavan as the maker and the material of the jagat. It reiterates the vision of the
oneness of everything expressed in the upanishads, and highlights the salience of
bhakti (devotion) and upasana (meditation) in preparing the mind to assimilate this
vision. In these weeklong talks, we will be assimilating the essence of the Purusha
Suktam.
