Veneralia (Carlos Museum Gala): Silver Moon over the Himalayas
Veneralia (Carlos Museum Gala) 25th Anniversary
Silver Moon over the Himalayas
Join distinguished guests of the Michael C. Carlos Museum at Veneralia: Silver Moon Over the Himalayas - where the warmth of traditional Tibetan lanterns provides an enlightened backdrop for the celebration of Tibetan culture. The Carlos' 25th anniversary of Veneralia draws inspiration from the museum's spring 2016 exhibition Doorway to an Enlightened World: The Tibetan Shrine from the Alice S. Kandell Collection. Your Veneralia participation will provide important funding for this extraordinary exhibition, which will offer museum visitors a rare chance to experience an authenic Tibetan shrine. Lively music and an elegant seated dinner in a celebration fashioned after a traditional Tibetan lantern festival is sure to transport you to the top of the majestic Himalayas. Veneralia 25 will be an occasion not to miss!
Contributions made for participation in the Silver Anniversary Committee, will provide much needed support for the Carlos Museum's educational programs for children related to the Doorway to an Enlightened World: The Tibetan Shrine from the Alice S. Kandell Collection exhibition. You may become a member of the Silver Anniversary Committee regardless of whether or not you purchase tickets to the gala. The Silver Anniversary Committee will be recognized in the gala program, online, and live during the gala. Thank you in advance for being a part of this special group of important Carlos Museum supporters!
