One of the finest actresses of South India, Suhasini Maniratnam, along with three renowned classical dancers, Krithika Subramanian from Tamil Nadu, Gopika Varma from Kerala, and Yamini Reddy (daughter of famous Kuchipudi couple Radha and Raja Reddy) from Hyderabad produced a unique show presenting Kuchipudi, Bharatanatyam, and Mohiniattam, with a good message. In this dance drama, four lady characters from the Puranas, Vasavi, Andal, Akkul Bhagavathy, and Rambha were portrayed with stunning visuals and props. Several child artists took part in this show from various dance schools. Music was scored by Oscar winner A. R. Rahman and three other well-known composers. This team was touring the USA, presenting the show in six different cities during October.

Program coordinators Viju Chiluveru and Praveen Puram introduced the show. Praveen launched the Idealogy Media Solutions logo and spoke about the company, saying, “This event is just the beginning. The best is yet to come.”

A pre-event show by various dance schools was presented. Students from Laasya School of Dance, Kalaivani Dance & Music Academy, Atlanta Nritya Academy, and Nataraja Natyanjali Kuchipudi Dance Academy were simply fabulous. Sobiya and Geethu team presented a dance; artists were singing live. Ram Durvasula and Bhanu Vavilakolanu presented songs from movies acted in by Suhasini, and Srinivas Durgam, a well-known Telugu-speaking singer, presented a Tamil song.

Dennis Brown and Stacey Guy, Commissioner and Planning Commision member from Forsyth County District 2 were the special invitees at this event. They gave certificates to the performers along with Rakesh Patel (on behalf of Khalpesh Patel, Patel Brothers), Hanuman Nandanampati, Vijay- GVR Realty, Paddy Sharma, Narender Reddy, and Kiran Pasham. Aishwarya Sridharan was asked to welcome the audience in Tamil to add native flavor.

After the main show, the guest artists presented Young Achievers awards to several school children: Sai Karthik Maddali, Disha Rachur, Aditya Narayanan, Akhil Turaga, Anuhya Kasam, Nikita Savant, Vihan Karnala, Sagarika Manoj Kumar, and Saanvi Kankipati. Suhasini Maniratnam (right) explained that their team has spent money, effort, and time in perfecting the show with the help of talented and experienced professionals from different fields. “Our goal is to pass on a good message to our next generation living in India and abroad.”

A day before Antaram, a Meet and Greet was organized for facilitating sponsors, volunteers, and VIP ticket holders at Chennai Express, Alpharetta. Venkat Chennubhotla, Ram Durvasula, Srivalli Sridhar and Bhanu Vavilakolanu presented songs, mostly from films acted in by Suhasini. Guest artists spoke about their own segments, and Suhasini gave a sneak preview of the show and sang a medley along with other singers.
