Bangla Magazine to Launch from Atlanta
PriyoBangla ("Beloved Bangla), a monthly features magazine for the Bengali community of Georgia and surrounding states, will debut with its first issue in March. "Bengali" refers to people of Bangladesh and West Bengal (Kolkata).
With over fifteen years in the media and publications field, Editor Sohel Ahmed, has a promising team of local and native contributors. Networking with the best thinkers and writers of this diaspora, the magazine will strive to strike a chord with Bengalis who are rooted in the culture and take pride and joy in the language.
Besides engaging articles, the magazine will strive to educate readers on matters that affect daily lives; such as, social issues, health, immigration, technology, job and business resources, children's upbringing, travel information, and more.
