Vibha To Bring Back Cricket Euphoria
India is playing a historic series in Pakistan, bringing back the nostalgic memories of some nail-biting matches between the archrivals. More than a billion people waited for 13 years. In keeping with this widespread cricket euphoria, Vibha cricket is back this year as well, as sure as Spring! The matches will be played once again on the Astro-Turf field in Georgia Tech on May 1, 2, 9, and 15th. Teams from Cleveland to Chattanooga, Birmingham to Alpharetta will be vying for the coveted title.
Started in 1999 as a small fund-raiser, Vibha cricket, now in its sixth year, has grown into an annual fixture in the calendars of the serious players as well as of the casual type. Last year, 48 teams of eight players each played and helped raise a net revenue of more than $8000, enough to support one project for an entire year in India. This year, Future Tech will be the title sponsor for Vibha Cricket. Omnisoft is also partnering with Vibha as an annual sponsor for all its fundraising events.
