Ranbir, Deepika getting back together?

Former lovers Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone seem to be getting back together. The two were spotted leaving a multiplex in Juhu after watching a late night show of Deepika’s latest movie Housefull. Though they were with friends in the auditorium, Deepika and Ranbir reportedly sat next to each other and looked most comfortable in each other’s company. A few days prior to this, the two were seen leaving a party together, even though they arrived separately. The buzz is that the seven-month separation from Deepika has made Ranbir realise the true depth of his love for Deepika while she, on her part, never stopped loving him. It is being said that the two are seriously contemplating giving their relationship another shot.

Incidentally, Karan Johar wanted the awesome twosome of Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor together in one of his future films, but Ranbir turned down the offer. No two-hero projects for him at this stage of his career, the wise guy is supposed to have told KJo.

Kareena to play Marilyn Monroe?

If rumors are to be believed, Kareena Kapoor is all set to play a character inspired by the controversial Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe in Madhu Bhandarkar’s next film, which has been tentatively titled Heroine. Bebo herself is keeping her lips sealed on the subject, stoking curiosity. The director, who is known to have always been fascinated by Monroe, is busy these days finalizing the male cast for the movie.

Katrina Kaif , on the other hand, is getting ready to step into the legendary Madhubala’s shoes in Anurag Kashyap’s biopic on Kishore Kumar. And guess who’s playing the talented eccentric singer? Well, it’s none other than the flavor of the season Ranbir Kapoor. After the fantastic chemistry Ranbir and Katz shared in Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, their fans are looking forward to seeing them together again.

After Barbara, will Hrithik romance Kristen Stewart?

The big buzz this time is that director Shekhar Kapur has roped in Hrithik Roshan and Twilight sensation Kristen Stewart for his ambitious international venture Paani (Water). Though the filmmaker refuses to divulge details, Paani is said to be a modern day version of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, with Hrithik playing a lower middle class youth and Kristen playing a wealthy beauty. Mumbai’s water crisis forms the backdrop of the movie, which has been long in the making.

Hrithik brings to mind his Kites co-star Barbara Mori. The gorgeous Mexican actress has been going ga-ga over Shah Rukh Khan ever since Gauri and he threw a surprise bash for her at their palatial house Mannat. Barbara also reveals that she has been offered another Bollywood movie, shooting for which would begin in January next year.

Sridevi’s Thoughts in color

Like Salman Khan, Sridevi has also been filling up the canvas of her life with colors, a fact not known to many in the film industry. But now the former diva is much in the news with her painting Thoughts, valued at $500,000, going under the hammer at Christie’s, one of the world’s biggest auction houses. The proceeds will go to a celebrity charity fund for which other global personalities such as Bill Clinton and Oprah Winfrey are also contributing, says Sridevi’s proud husband Boney Kapoor. He goes on to reveal that though his wife was always fond of painting, her passion was on pause mode after she got married. It was only during the making of Wanted, when Salman egged her on, that the actress took to the brush with a renewed passion.
