Kangana to play Praful Patel in Simran

Now this is really strange. In her next film, titled Simran, Kangana Ranaut is playing Praful Patel! The movie is said to be inspired by the life of an NRI nurse in the United States, Sandeep Kaur, dubbed by the FBI as ‘the Bombshell Bandit,’ who was sent to prison last year for robbing banks to pay off her gambling debts. The big question in everyone’s mind: If Kangana’s character is called Praful Patel, why is the film titled Simran! Guess that’s something the director Hansal Mehta is not in a hurry to reveal. The shooting will begin in August in the US.
