Kareena Kapoor to play Sita?

The big buzz is that Kareena Kapoor Khan has been approached to play the title role of Sita in a new film to be directed by Alaukik Desai. Speculation is also rife that the actress has demanded a whopping amount of Rs 12 crores, which has sent the producers in a tizzy. So, they are on the hunt for another, younger actress though Bebo remains their first choice.
The film, tentatively titled Sita: The Incarnation is said to be a retelling of the Ramayana from Sita’s perspective.
