Two biggies slated for release in October are Shah Rukh Khan’s Ra. One starring SRK himself and Kareena Kapoor, and David Dhawan’s Rascals, starring Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgun and Kangana Ranaut.
Bipasha Basu, it is confirmed, will play the lead in Raaz 3. There were rumors that she would not be a part of the movie after her fallout with the Bhatts. But things have now been sorted out.
It’s the age of remakes and sequels. Boney Kapoor’s younger brother, Sanjay has jumped on the bandwagon. He has bought the rights for Ravi Tandon’s 1975 thriller Khel Khel Mein starring Neetu Singh and Rishi Kapoor, for his next project.
Meanwhile, sequels to the 2008 blockbusters, Abhishek Kapoor’s Rock On and Madhur Bhandarkar’s Fashion, are in the pipeline, too.
