DID THAT REALLY HAPPEN?

How much do you know about current events in India and the U.S.? Try this short quiz!

1. A small school district in Glen Rock, New Jersey, voted to add Diwali to its list of instruction-free holidays.

2. A session of the Idaho State Senate opened with a Hindu prayer.

3. The White House appointed an Indian-American “DJ” as America’s first chief data scientist.

4. Five Indian women appeared in Forbes magazine’s list of the world’s billionaires.

5. Shahid Khan, owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars, was listed by Forbes as the “billionaire with the best mustache.”

(1, 2, 3, and 4 really happened. The “DJ” is scientist Dhanurjay “DJ” Patil.)
