December 2011
DID THAT REALLY HAPPEN? 1. An Indian newspaper used the words “chubby” and “heavy frame” to describe Aishwarya Rai Bachchan after the pregnant actress made a public appearance with her mother-in-law.

2. Two school districts in New Jersey gave children the day off for Diwali.

3. Bobby Jindal was so sure of being re-elected as governor of Lousiana, he sent his cousins Bhagwant and Narinder around to campaign for him.

4. Anil Ambani’s net worth dropped by $7.4 billion from 2010 to 2011.

5. Mukesh Ambani organized a fundraising dinner for his brother.

(1, 2 and 4 really happened.)
