DID THAT REALLY HAPPEN? 1. Britain conferred a knighthood on Nobel laureate Venkatraman Ramakrishnan, a U.S. citizen, “for services to molecular biology.”

2. Pakistan was ranked the top country in the world for googling the word “sex.”

3. India was ranked the top country in the world for googling the word “love.”

4. Bajaj Auto, known for its two-wheel and threewheel vehicles, introduced a four-wheel vehicle to compete with the Tata Nano.

5. Gov. Nikki Haley of South Carolina ordered cabinet agencies to greet people on the phone with the words, “It’s a great day in South Carolina.”

(1, 2, 4 and 5 really happened.)
