2. A poll showed that 80 percent of Indian-Americans would vote for President Obama in a presidential election.

3. Hoping to improve his status among Indian- Americans, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney pledged to support the creation of a “Brown History Month.”

4. India’s Hero Cycles reached an agreement to supply Walmart with bicycles.

5. A Madhya Pradesh woman who left her husband to protest the lack of a toilet in their house, returning only after he built one, was awarded $10,000 by an NGO for her bravery.
