Good Sports: PAES KEEPS WINNING

He just turned 43, an age when most professional athletes are retired, but Leander Paes continues to not just play well, but also add to his impressive trophy collection.

He and partner Martina Hingis completed a career slam when they won the French Open mixed doubles titles, having won titles at the three other majors last year.

Paes now has eight men’s doubles and ten mixed-doubles Grand Slam titles to his name, making him one of the most successful doubles players in the history of tennis.

“If I retire now, nobody can point a finger at me,” he told NDTV Sports.
