April 2018 - In a state-wide Georgia Student Technology Competition, two sisters—Aratrika (Rimjhim) Kar and Urjoshi (Brishti) Kar, won the top prize in graphics animation. They also recently won in Debate.

Georgia Tech professors receive $7.5 million grant from U.S. Navy

February 2018 - Georgia now has a 30-member Indian-American Lions Club chapter, aptly named Namaste Atlanta. Ramesh Gude of Lilburn is the chapter’s first president.

Yash Kadadi in Breakthrough Junior Challenge Finals
January 2018 - Yash Kadadi, a ninth-grader at The Westminster Schools, Atlanta, was a finalist in the Breakthrough Junior Challenge competition. His video elegantly unravelled the mysteries of the Higgs Field.
