March 2017 - Emory Savera won 2nd place in a national dance competition. Instead of performing their typical fusion of the styles, they performed Kuchipudi, Bharatanatyam, and Kathak in a story on climate change.

Emory SaRaas won 3rd place in national competition for Garba-Raas
March 2017 - Emory's co-ed, nationally ranked, Indian Garba-Raas dance team, competes in 4-5 cities annually. On February 4, 2017 they placed 3rd in Garba-Raas at the A-Town Showdown in Atlanta.
