Chandra Karnati is STAR 2021 Region Winner
Chandra Karnati, who teaches Advanced Placement calculus, AP research and geometry (ESOL) at Gainesville High School, is Student Teacher Achievement Recognition (STAR) 2021 Region Winner. This recognition is bestowed by the Professional Association of Georgia Educators (PAGE). Karnati, who has been teaching at Gainesville High for the last 11 years, has almost 25 years of teaching experience. “I believe teaching is a calling,” he says. “The reward is not something that can be explained; it is a feeling.”
