Sneha Talika “rocks the block” (Block Chain and more)

Sneha Talika Bukkarayasamudram of Alpharetta, Georgia, recently presented technology papers in Malaysia and Thailand, both papers winning best paper awards.

She is an IT consultant, certified in Big Data, and Block Chain, and is working on how to leverage cutting edge technologies like these in future airport designing. She is now working on AI from MIT and plans to attend London Business School in 2020. She is working on her final dissertation towards her Ph.D. from Nagarjuna University, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, and will continue her post Ph.D. studies.

Her most recent publication on developing a permissible block chain for logistics won the best paper award at the International Technology conference at the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on August 16, 2019. Her paper focuses on developing smart contracts, smart chips, and security in block chain. She built the PoW and PoS algorithms which can be easily scalable. She and her guide, Prof. Siva, presented this paper as well as a second paper on “Prevention of Fraud in Supply Chain through Block Chain.”

Her earlier paper on artificial intelligence presented at Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand, won the best paper award. Her other publications include conquest marketing–digital transformation in Andhra Pradesh, highlighting data science, which earned professor’s choice recognition from the university. She is working towards establishing a greenfield research center in India in the first quarter of 2020.

Apart from her professional interests, she is an entrepreneur with organic foods. Hamsa organics is the first USDA certified company from Andhra Pradesh for pickles, powders, and snacks. The company has about 52 organic products under brand name AHA and is planning to add ready to eat millets. Sneha is also a movie producer (produced more than 85 short and independent movies) under Hamsa4U channel with Hamsa Productions based in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, and a writer (with 3 poetry books and 4th in process).

Sneha is an enthusiastic volunteer at the Hindu Temple of Atlanta and produces their promo videos. Her social activism has been widely appreciated. She has been awarded the Most Inspiring Women Award by GATES (Greater Telangana Society). The Telugu Association of North America (TANA) has felicitated her contributions to the arts and media. She is currently serving as the Acting President for an organization called Telugu Samskriti.

When she is not at work or involved with community service initiatives, Sneha travels and enjoys exploring a host of adventure sports from snowmobiling, jet skiing, zip-lining, horseback riding, rafting, and trekking.
