6th Annual Jewels from Heaven Gala
Jewels from Heaven Gala was founded in 2011 at the one year angelversary of Christy Kunkel's daughter, Evelyn Marie, stillborn at 39 1/2 weeks. The purpose of the event was to honor Evie's life by establishing a legacy of helping orphans in the world. At the 3rd Annual Gala in 2013, Christy raised money to follow the call to India to care for orphans herself. Every yearly gala since has benefitted her ministry with orphans in Hyderabad, India, Treasured Jewel Ministries, whose founding principle is that "every life is a treasure." This year at the 6th Annual Gala, she and her newlywed husband, Daniel, are on a mission to raise money to build their own orphanage, Hopeland for Orphans, a safe haven/ranch for the future sons and daughters of TJM, who will be loved and treasured well! Please come out for a fun and inspirational night to hear how God has been leading Christy since the passing of her daughter to advocate and be the hands and feet of Jesus to orphans in India.
