A Night in Bengal

Please join us for a fun night on Friday, November 8, 2019 showcasing Bengali culture. Our theme this year is "Timeless Tales" - stories, tales, and folklore coming to life through decorations, song, dance, and poem to showcase Bengali culture and influential writers of the past. BASE welcomes all students, staff, and faculty to join us to support impoverished families and children in need of education in Bangladesh through the Abinta Kabir Foundation. The program will include a photo booth, performances, and FREE full Bengali dinner!
We are strongly encouraging our attendees to donate towards our philanthropy: Abinta Kabir Foundation. Many may remember Abinta Kabir's legacy and time as an Emory student at the Oxford campus, and we hope to help realize her dreams of helping those in need. Donations will be taken at the door and everyone who donates will get a chance to win a prize.
We hope you can come out to support our cause! Semi-formal/cultural attire is encouraged.
