A Special Event in Honor of V. Narayana Rao
Visweswara Rao and Sita Koppaka Professor
in Telugu Culture, Literature and History
The MESAS department is pleased to host a celebration of the scholarly career of V. Narayana Rao, who is retiring this year and will soon return to India. We will mark the occasion with a poetry reading, drawing especially on Professor Rao's translations of Telugu verse, and on other poetic traditions. All devotees of poetry and of Professor Rao are welcome to attend.
