Ahmadiyya Muslim Community GA: Peachtree Road Race
Plans to support the runners and to demonstrate patriotism on July 4th
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Georgia plans to set up a stall at Peachtree Road Race in Atlanta on July 4th, to support the runners and to show our patriotism, as we have done for the past several years.
Our children and adults will be present to support the runners and to demonstrate our love and loyalty to our Homeland on Independence Day. According to Dr. Chairul Bahri, President of the Georgia Chapter of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, "Islam emphasizes that love of one's country is a part of faith".
Several of our members will running in the race. Other members, including children, will hand out water bottles and patriotic paraphernalia including mini-flags.
The stall is open to everyone and Media is invited to visit and talk with the members.
