Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Georgia: Coffee, Cake & Islam
America’s Oldest Muslim Organization to Hold Nationwide Ramadhan Iftars
Opens doors to 100+ Mosque and Community Centers Across America
On June 10, 2017, the 15th day of Ramadhan, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA has scheduled over 100 nationwide open houses and iftars on True Islam. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community invites our fellow Americans of all faiths and backgrounds to stand in solidarity with us at one of our 100+ mosques or meeting centers for dialogue and fellowship about True Islam.
“Hate crimes are at historic highs, we need more dialogue, understanding, and compassion,” said Hazeem Phudiapura, President for the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Georgia. “We extend an open invitation to our neighbors of all faiths or no faith to join us in our Coffee, Cake, and True Islam education campaign against extremism and hate.”
Those interested in participating in this nationwide response to hate can find the nearest open house to them at trueislam.com/events. (The nearest open house in Atlanta is listed below.) We look forward to our neighbors joining us to build bridges of understanding and dialogue to overcome hate and extremism.
– Is Islam really a violent faith?
– Are Muslims really the enemy of freedom?
– Does Islam radicalize its followers?
Between 4-5pm on Saturday, we invite you to learn why True Muslims wish to bring hope and take a stand against all forms of fanatic-based violence.
The more dialogue we can have, the more we can demystify misconceptions, and build strong relationships with our neighbours for our shared commitment to peace-building.
This is a WEEKLY OPEN-HOUSE. Drop in any time after 4pm, and get to demystify the nonsense, and know your local Muslims in an informal & relaxed meetup over a hot drink, and maybe an exotic treat!
