Visit the Asian /Pacific American Heritage Display at GJAC |
For the month of May, Asian/Pacific countries will be on display through an exhibit at the Gwinnett Justice & Administration Center. The Exhibit will feature artifacts, clothing, art and facts about each country on the continent to include the Pacific Islands.
The Asian/Pacific countries display is a made possible by contributions from members and volunteers of the Gwinnett Multicultural Advisory Committee, The Center for Pan Asian Community Services, and the Asian Pacific American Council of Georgia.
The Asian/Pacific Countries Exhibit is open to the public May 5-May 31 at the Gwinnett Justice & Administration Center (Atrium). 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville.

Chai & Chat |
Gwinnett County Government, in collaboration with The Aga Khan Council for the Southeastern United States, invites you to Chai & Chat featuring Chairman Charlotte Nash and Gwinnett County officials on Sunday, May 21 at 3:30pm.
Chai & Chat is an opportunity to learn about Gwinnett County’s efforts in economic development, public safety, community services and civic engagement, all while fostering relationships and understanding of the Ismaili community. Networking and refreshments to follow. This event is open to the public. Chai & Chat will take place at the
Ismaili Jamatkhana - 4405-A International Boulevard, Norcross.

Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Night |
Join us on Tuesday, May 23rd at 7:00 as we honor the contributions of Asian Americans in our community! This event will include a formal recognition and proclamation presentation from the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners. The event will be followed by a reception, which will feature the Asian countries exhibit, performances and special guest speakers. Refreshments will be provided.
AAPI Heritage Night will take place at the Gwinnett Justice & Administration Center, 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville.
