Mcdonald’s Guest Speaker: Wesley Chan (Cofounder of Wong Fu Productions, Chinese- American)
<Navigating through the High School & College Years>
As a cofounder of the digital production company and popular YouTube Channel, Wong Fu Productions, Wesley Chan has pioneered the new media digital space for 15 years, crafting heartfelt stories with unique and diverse perspectives.
His creative work has been recognized by CNN, NPR, and the White House for its striking quality and emotional depth as well as its authentic representation of Asian Americans.
While most of his work can be found on Wong Fu's channel with over 3 million subscribers, Wesley has led projects beyond YouTube as well– including the feature film "Everything Before Us" on Netflix and "Zoetic" on HBO.
Most recently, Wesley has begun exploring the industrial and graphic design space– lending his creativity to collaborations with JINS Eyewear and other notable lifestyle brands.

Keynote Speaker: Irene Hwang (Tory Burch, Korean)

Irene Hwang, a digital marketer, will speak on digital trends and strategies. She will share with prospective students her experience to help them learn how to decide on their career future and particularize themselves from others as a survival tactic in this digital age. Irene Hwang is a multidisciplinary strategist, designer, and art director working for Tory Burch in greater New York City area. Before her move to Tory Burch, she was a designer responsible for creating a strategy at Global New Media, MAC Cosmetics, where she contributed to the increase of Instagram followers of the said company from 14 million to 21 million.
