On its 36th year of community service, the 2015 Executive Committee would like to encourage and bring our second generation Bengalis to the forefront of BAGA activities. Keep your eyes open for BAGA’s BYC members to perform many tasks that traditionally their parents have been taking care of. To reflect this, the theme for the year 2015 will be #BAGANXTGEN.
ART COMPETITION
Who can participate? Elementary School (Pre-K - 5th grade) students
Venue: Parkview High School Cafeteria
Start time: January 24 at 11:00 AM
Theme:
Group PreK - 2nd grade "To me Family is ……"
Group 3rd - 5th grade "Together we can ……."
Drawing supplies will be provided.
There will be attractive prizes for the first, second and third place winners in each age group.
QUIZ COMPETITION
By popular demand BAGA is bringing back the Quiz competition for middle and high school students.
Who can participate? Grades 6 - 12
Venue for Preliminary round: Parkview High School Cafeteria
Preliminary Round start time: 11:00 AM
Jeopardy-style final round will be held in the Parkview High School auditorium at 3:00 PM
Categories: India, World Geography, World Literature, Movies, Math, Science and World History.
The top 3 preliminary round contestants from Grades 6 - 9 and Grades 10 - 12 will be selected to participate in the final round.
Attractive cash prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third place winners.
