On this World Refugee Day, let's band together to break bread, build awareness, and brainstorm actions we can take as a community of advocates to further the movement for refugees and immigrants.
Our meeting will include delicious food from Kathmandu Restaurant, stories from refugee leaders on their advocacy work, and conversations on:
-The state of refugee resettlement
-Current policies aimed at undoing the Muslim travel ban and rebuilding support for the resettlement program
-Organizing strategies and steps we can take in our advocacy efforts this summer
Come celebrate the day with us and learn more about what we can do to increase support for refugees and immigrants in Georgia!
