Arjuna Wiwaha - Celebration of Arjuna: A Javanese Shadow Puppet Theater with Live Gamelan Music Orchestra
See the heroic Arjuna of the Mahabharata epic in lively shadow puppetry.
This traditional Javanese art will be performed by Indonesian Puppet Master Sumarsam (Wesleyan University), accompanied by the Emory Gamelan Ensemble and Darsono Hadirahardjo as music director and drummer (Cornell University).
This is a family friendly event. $10 suggested donation at the door, $5 for students, free for children.
