Kahaaniya for Kids is a puppetry arts company aimed at educating, communicating and inspiring children and families to know more about Indian culture and heritage. They present stories from all parts of India–some old, some new, some adapted to the more contemporary times yet, giving the same message!

12:30 PM & 1:30 PMArt Studio: Special Holi Workshops with Visiting Artist
Join local artist Will McBryde in making your own gulal (powdered colors). The rest of the day build colorful abstract rice art.

12:00 PM & 2:00 PMSpecial storytime: Rani Celebrates Holi by Anita Badhwar
Little Princess Rani and her friends are excited to celebrate the spring festival of colors, Holi, except her pet elephant, Bindi. Bindi is a very clean elephant and does not like to get messy by playing with colored powder in this festival. But Rani has an idea that will convince Bindi to take part in the Holi festivities. Find out how Rani convinces Bindi to enjoy the Holi fun in this very colorful adventure.

11:00 AM & 1:00 PMNatyam Arts Academy, helmed by Preeti Vinayak
Students will present traditional pieces in the Indian classical dance style of Bharatanatyam. Bharatanatyam is known for its usage of esoteric mudras, intricate footwork and fast paced rhythmical patterns all the while telling a story. The dance form is all about story telling through hand movements and elaborate facial expressions.
