![]() Teaching artist Gauri Misra-Deshpande will share the story of Krishna defeating Kaliya, a 100-headed snake king, depicted in a gold-embellished painting from India, then work with children to create a collaborative collage illustrating Krishna’s divine protection of the Yamuna River. Children will look at modern-day water pollution and think of ways they can become water protectors—like Krishna! For elementary school-aged children.
