1) Sri Rama Navami celebrations - Laghu Kalayanam on Friday, April 15th from 7.00 PM to 9.00 PM followed by Arati & Mahaprasad. The puja will be guided by the priest and individual families get the opportunity to register for the puja.

2) Hanuman Jayanti celebrations - 54 Hanuman Chalisa Chanting on Saturday, April 30th from 12.30 PM to 4.30 PM followed by Arati & Prasad.

3) Blood Drive: with LifeSouth between 10am and 4:00pm on Saturday April 30th at Chinmaya Niketan. Our goal is to get more than 100 donors to sign up and to collect at least 50 units of blood. If everyone who signs up shows up for the donation and qualifies, we can reach a much higher collection rate.
Because of the blood shortage, the deferral period after visiting a malaria region (eg. India) has been reduced to 3 months from the prior 1 year. Hence folks who returned back from India by Jan of this year will qualify for blood donation.
LifeSouth has created a custom sign-up link for us and if we get more donors, They can double the number of appointments per time slot and provide an additional Blood mobile.They are also offering incentives for blood donation (see attached flyer :) )
