Date: Saturday, October 19th, 2013
Time: 10am-3pm

The first AAACF last year opened a new era for the growing Asian community in Atlanta. It provided the first comprehensive avenue where students and parents can learn about how to choose, finance and do well in college.
As such, the event enjoyed an overwhelming response from the community. About 1,500 students and parents came out to meet with representatives from 32 colleges and take 10 expert seminars. “I wished I could take all the seminars … it was very worthwhile event,” said a student in post-event survey.
The majority of the students were from Fulton and Gwinnett Counties. These two counties have a high concentration of Asian students as well as exceptional academic records. In 2012, these two counties had 7 of 10 schools with the highest average SAT scores in the state.
We are building on last year’s success to make the 2013 AAACF another big hit. McDonald’s will continue to serve the community as the title sponsor of this event.
2013 AAACF will be a diverse and truly Asian American event. The Korea Daily Atlanta is teaming up with local Asian media and school systems to help every segment of the rich and diverse Asian community in this great city.
