Panelists Dr. Gyanendra Pandey (History, Emory University), Dr. Regine Jackson (Sociology, Agnes Scott College), Dr. Mario Heit (Political Science, Georgia State University), Dr. Laura Bier (History, Georgia Tech), and chair Dr. David Nugent (Anthropology, Emory University) will lead this interdisciplinary round table discussion on the topic, "The Practice of Democracy, Past and Present." The seminar will include short presentations from each of the panelists, followed by discussion open to all attendees.
The seminar venue, Goodrich C. White Hall, is located at 301 Dowman Dr. Atlanta, GA 30322.
