Coming Together - Communities of Color Uniting Against Injustice
Hosted by Asian Americans Advancing Justice Atlanta

Coming Together is Advancing Justice - Atlanta's annual interfaith community event about the issues facing immigrants and communities of color. At our second annual Coming Together event, we are partnering with Rice Memorial Presbyterian Church and Project South to host a panel of speakers from different POC communities to discuss their communities' struggles with and responses to unjust state policies. Panelists Azadeh Shahshahani, Adelina Nicholls, and Taryn Jordan will draw on years of experience fighting for the rights of POC communities to speak about injustice and solidarity.

The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

Date: Wednesday, September 28, 2016
Time: 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Venue: Rice Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1515 Brewer Blvd SW, Atlanta, Georgia 30310
