Master Gardeners Rita Bhandarkar-Mathew and Suzanne Keifer will host a book-signing for their new cookbook:

There is a Season: An Intentional Approach to Sustenance

A Cookbook to foster individual health,

environmental stewardship and community connections

on Thursday, November 19^th 2020 from 4 pm – 6 pm

at the new Extension Office - 275 Cleveland Road, Bogart, GA.

$30/- per book – An Education Fundraiser for Athens Clarke County Extension

This collaborative cookbook is unlike any other as it not only offers delicious local and international recipes, over 240, but it also provides beautiful artwork by award winning artists.

An exceptional work, it contains recipes for seasonal eating, and essays by scholars who have earned recognition in their fields, such as Sheila Patel, MD, Chief Medical Officer, Chopra NY; Rich Panico, MD; Virginia Nazarea, PhD, Director of Ethnoecology and Biodiversity Lab at University of Georgia; Anne Shenk, Director of Education (Retired) State Botanical Garden of Georgia; Gary Wade, PhD, Professor (Emeritus) Dept of Horticulture; to name just a few.
