Dancers at reopening of Sharon Forks Library
Forsyth County Public Library system announced new details about the grand reopening of its Sharon Forks Library Branch. The all-day reopening celebration will take place on Saturday, March 24, and will feature activities for all ages throughout the day.
Lambert High School’s string quintet, The Fab Five, will play from 10 a.m. to noon.
There will be a flag raising ceremony led by Cub Scout Pack 205, self-guided scavenger hunts, and staff-led tours through the renovated library, a story time program from Mo Willems’ Elephant and Piggie books.
There will be several cultural demonstrations and performances from the University of North Georgia on Chinese culture and traditions, and two Indian dance performances from Natyalaya School of Indian Classical Dance and Atlanta Nritya Dance Academy.
