NOTE:
On Friday, August 3, AAAJ-Atlanta helped 34 people renew DACA and gave out 26 DACA scholarships!

Please Note:
Even with the Judge Bates in Washington DC ruling on August 3rd, At this time, nothing has changed so if you've never had DACA before, you can't apply now.
BUT!
1. U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services may stop accepting DACA renewal applications starting August 8th.
2. You should apply to renew your DACA if it expires before 2020 NOW!
PLEASE CALL 404-890-5655 for questions and additional information regarding DACA.
NOTE: On 8/8, the court in Texas is holding a hearing to see if it should grant a preliminary injunction to Texas and the other states that sued. It is unlikely that the court will issue a decision today. The most likely outcome is that the court will grant the injunction, thereby stopping the DACA program/preventing USCIS from accepting any DACA applications, initial or renewal. If that happens, given the ruling by the DC judge in favor of keeping DACA going, the issue will likely end up at the Supreme Court in the Fall.
