Emory University: Children’s Workshop: Rangolis.
In India, the practice of creating a rangoli threshold design can be a daily ritual to welcome happiness into your home or an elaborate artistic endeavor to honor a deity during a special festival.
Children will create traditional temporary rangolis with artist Gauri Misra-Deshpande.
Ages 6 to 8.

Date: Sunday, September 20, 2015
Time: 2–4 pm.
Venue: Carlos Museum, Tate Room, Plaza Level, Emory University, 571 South Kilgo Circle, Atlanta, GA 30322.
Fee: $15 for Carlos Museum members; $20 for non-members.
