Ahmadiyya Muslim Community (GA Chapter) is a partnering with Joseph's Network, Noah's Ark and the American Red Cross in organizing "First 72 hours", a Disaster Relief Preparedness Summit for Gwinnett County Leaders.
A FREE Disaster Preparedness Summit for the leaders of faith-based and civic organizations and diverse communities will be hosted in Gwinnett County by the American Red Cross, Joseph’s Network, Noah’s Ark, and partner organizations and agencies. This all-day event encourages leaders to network amongst diverse and multi-denominational faith and civic groups, establish relationships with disaster response agencies, and learn how to be an involved community partner in times of disaster.
Special presenters include:
· Gwinnett County Commissioner Lynette Howard, District Two
· Georgia Emergency Management Agency (GEMA) – Janay Stargell, Homeland Security Faith-based Coordinator
· American Red Cross – Jack Morgan, Division Disaster Executive, Southeast and Caribbean
· Gwinnett Fire Department
