Geet-Rung School of Dance and Music presents 'Meera' in classical dance style 'Kathak'. 'Meera' more popularly known as 'Meera bai' was the 16th-century Hindu mystic poet and devotee of Krishna. Meera was a Rajput princess born in a royal family in Rajasthan, India. When Meera was a child, a life turning event happened, that impacted her until eternity. Legends state that she miraculously disappeared by merging into an idol of Krishna. Program would also feature folk and Bollywood dance performances. Choreographed by Divya Srivastava, Director of Geet-Rung. Proceeds from the show will benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
