Go Eat Give: Golf Tournament
Go Eat Give, an Atlanta based nonprofit, will be hosting its First Annual Charity Golf Tournament at The Standard Club, one of Atlanta’s most prestigious and historic golf clubs, on Monday, Nov. 10. Players can sign up either in teams of four or individually. The cost is $800 per team or $200 per person, and includes lunch, snacks and drinks on the course, a Byron Nelson golf shirt, and team prizes. Following the tournament will be a reception that includes a dinner of international cuisine, entertainment, a silent auction, and an awards ceremony. Tickets for the reception are $50. Sponsorship and donation opportunities are available, along with registration, on Go Eat Give’s website.
Go Eat Give’s mission is to raise cultural awareness in the city of Atlanta and to sponsor grassroots programs around the world. Your donations help us bridge the gap between minority and immigrant communities around the state, change perceptions of everyday Americans, bring attention to global current issues, and sponsor essential projects such as building toilets for village schools in Indonesia and safe houses for women in India. Make a donation in any amount and become a part of the movement for global change. Go Eat Give is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
Golfers and non-golfers are encouraged to attend the International Gala Dinner and Auction starting at 5:30 p.m. with master of ceremonies, John Lemley, host and producer of City Café with John Lemley (90.1 FM, WABE-Atlanta). The dinner banquet will feature “around the world” cuisine hosted by local restaurants – Fanoos, Bhojanic, Villagio and the Cobb Galleria Center. Guests will enjoy live performances by Apu Inka Peruvian band and Moksha international dance group. Individual tickets for the International Gala are $50.00 per person.
